Designed for Students Educate and Empower

BeAlert® is the awareness and prevention strategy of The Stop Trafficking Project®. The primary method of implementation is through high-impact, fast-paced, and evidence-based presentations designed to educate and empower students and guide adults from awareness to action.

What It Looks Like

We expose vulnerabilities—loneliness, isolation, depression, suicide ideation, cyberbullying, sexting, sextortion, and pornography—that are easily exploited in our students’ lives. This mandates education for the adults in the community to help protect our kids!

01

Community Presentation

The night before the student assemblies, presentations that engage the community of caring adults who form part of each school.

02

School Assembly

We offer age-appropriate specifically designed assemblies for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The goal is to END it BEFORE it STARTS™.

03

Surveys & Reports

Students fill out anonymous surveys that provide insight into this reality. Our team processes the surveys and prepares confidential reports.

Schools

Assemblies

BeAlert® school presentations are high-energy and engaging, using quality audio-visuals to teach safety to students from K-12. Each session is age-appropriate and aims for immediate impact, empowering students to protect themselves and others.

Surveys

Students enrolled in grades 6 through 12 are given the opportunity to participate in anonymous and voluntary surveys, which serve as a crucial tool in gaining a deeper understanding of their perceptions, experiences, and attitudes towards this subject matter.

Reports

Our team processes the surveys and prepares confidential reports including the data by grades to measure the various levels of vulnerability. Those confidential reports are then forwarded to designated school leadership as an ongoing tool.

Communities From Awareness to Action

Before speaking with students, we engage the adults who form part of each school community. The night before the student assemblies, we invite caring adults to a community presentation for an evening of awareness and action.

One trusted adult investing in one student can keep their vulnerabilities from being exploited.
